Set among rolling bentgrass fairways that blend seamlessly with the surrounding farm and town landscape, Stowe Country Club has been fully transformed by renowned architect Beau Welling. With views of the Green Mountains from every hole, the course honors its history while elevating the experience for a new generation of members.
Members enjoy a first rate course experience, a member centric social calendar, instructional opportunities, and compelling tournament play. The newly renovated Stowe Country Club debuts its full course in the summer of 2026.

Reshaping a Legend

Stowe Country Club is excited to usher in a new era of play this year following the completion of a Golf Course Renovation Project led by Beau Welling Design. While the footprint of the golf course will largely remain the same, the improvements have elevated all facets of the course—from new and improved tees, improved irrigation and vistas, to new and enhanced green complexes.

It's a new day at Stowe Country Club

Stowe Country Club sits on land that was once the historic Le Liberté dairy farm, dating back to the early 20th century. Over time, it has transformed into a stunning golf course, built a rich history, and has been the site of multiple state championships. The club embarked on a full redesign beginning in the spring of 2024, completing in the fall of 2025, reinforcing its status as one of Northern New England’s premier golf destinations
